Essay on Direct Looks by The Wildcat Direct looks and Peripheral Vision have been the most argued case since the birth of the Circle Game. It has been brought to my attention that there has been a recent rash of such arguments so I have decided to write this essay. After conferring with the co-founder of this site (Steady), I am re-establishing that under no circumstance is a direct look allowed!! You cannot look directly at a circle and not get punched. You cannot look directly at a circle to aim for a poke. You can never look at the circle. Directly looking at the outside edge of the fingers is a direct look. However... Peripheral vision is allowed. Focusing an inch or so away from the circle is allowed. You know when you are looking directly or not. So give it up if you do. Personally, I am notorious for pleading 'peripheral vision'. But I swear I didn't look directly at it!
